Aisha Solorzano was named Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week after her role in the Fire's 9-0 victory over the University of Mobile.
The fifth year forward from Guatemala secured her first hat trick of the season beginning with her first goal in the 36
th minute to put the Fire up 3-0 going into the locker room. Ten minutes into the second half Solorzano found the net a second time off of a
Shara Randez assist to advance the Fire lead to 5-0. Shortly after in the 61
st minute,
Ciara Boal assisted in the third and final Solorzano goal that brought the score to 8-0.
Solorzano now has four goals in only two games played on the season and will aid the Fire in their home opener on August 25
th in an exhibition against the University of Tampa at 11 a.m.
