LAKELAND, Fla.—The Southeastern University women's soccer team is set to take the field for the first time since their season-opener two weeks ago when they defeated the Faulkner Eagles by a score of 3-0.
Head coach
Alan Berrios is set to make his home debut for the Fire when they host the Warner Royals for the 2020 home opener at the SEU Soccer Complex on Saturday, September 19th at 5:00 pm. This also marks the first game in Sun Conference play for Southeastern in 2020.
In their season-opening win against Faulkner, transfer junior
Victoria Moran netted the first goal of the year against her former squad to give the Fire a 1-0 lead in the second half. Fellow Southeastern newcomer

Junior goalkeeper
Holly Eddins made an impact in her 2020 debut with three second half saves, including two diving saves within the final five minutes of play.
The Warner Royals open their 2020 season on Thursday against Florida College before traveling to Lakeland on Saturday. The Royals return their top goal scorer in Maddie Manzke and top goalkeeper Mackenzie Spurling. Manzke netted 12 goals while Spurling had 56 saves a year ago.
Southeastern has taken the last six matches against the Royals dating back to 2014. The Fire won the previous meeting against Warner 5-0.
