Southeastern University (10-3, 3-1 SUN) boasts the #3 women's tennis team in the NAIA, and St. Thomas (2-6, 0-2 SUN) is ranked #7 overall. The Bobcats will host this heavyweight bout in Miami Gardens this Saturday.
The Fire rebounded nicely from a loss to #3 Keiser with a revenge 4-3 victory over #5 Xavier (La.) and a shutout on Senior Day over Florida National. They look to continue to build on their resume against the Bobcats.
The Bobcats picked up some strong ranked wins early in the season, but since then has dealt with high competition and has come up empty. Most recently dropping a nailbiter to #5 Xavier (La.) 4-3.

Martina Picardi runs at the head of the Fire powerhouse, playing on line one in singles and in flight one with
Simone Simas in doubles, forming the #41 doubles team in the NAIA.
Flaminia Guidantoni has been running mostly at line three, and intermittently at line two due to player injury. Guidantoni is 7-1 in the past eight matches in singles. In doubles, Guidantoni and
Ingrid Montserrat create the #31 doubles team in the NAIA, tearing through competition with their only loss on the season coming to #1 Georgia Gwinnett.
Simas operates mainly out of line four, sometimes line three and has had six of thirteen matches go unfinished. In the matches that have finished she is 5-2.
Montserrat has played mostly at line five over the course of the season and a few times at line four, and she has dominated there. Montserrat is 8-1 with four unfinished contests, winning eight games in a row since her one loss to #1 Georgia Gwinnett.

Maria Martinez, Lopez has played with four different teammates in doubles. In singles Lopez is 5-1 with four unfinished contests, Martinez is 1-2 in singles and 3-1 in doubles.
