GRADUATE (2024): Montserrat was a welcome addition to the Fire women’s tennis program. Dominating in singles with a 12-2 record on lines three, four, and five. In doubles, going 13-6 playing with teammates Flaminia Guidantoni, Martina Picardi, Simone Simas, and Neleah Neiberline. Her singles play was highlighted by two ranked wins, including a 6-0, 6-2 win over #59 Kanon Sorakubo in Southeastern’s 4-2 win over #10 Westcliff in the NAIA National Championship Second Round. Alongside Guidantoni, she worked most of the season on flight’s one and two, ranking as high as 31st, picking up a ranked win over the #12 doubles team from Middle Georgia State. She was awarded NAIA Player of the Week and Sun Conference Player of the Week for her performance perfect week against #18 Ave Maria and DI Colgate University.
