LAKELAND, Fla.—Fire men's tennis needed two hours on Friday to improve to 5-1 in Sun Conference play and score their 16
th win of the season with a 4-0 win over Coastal Georgia.
 
The doubles point went to Southeastern thanks to a 6-1 win at the top flight by the fifth-ranked tandem of 
Bruno Pessoa and 
Diego Menendez and a 6-3 win in the third flight by 
Alejandro Orihuela and 
Victor Olivera.
 
Piero Fernandez made it 2-0 in favor of the hosts with a 6-1, 6-3 win in the fifth singles flight and Olivera was a 6-2, 6-2 winner in the fourth. Pessoa closed the match with a 6-4, 6-3 win in the top singles flight.
 
The Fire will take on SCAD Savannah on Saturday at noon to close out their Sun Conference slate.
