Biography
GRADUATE (2024): Pessoa, the Warner transfer, ran line one singles and flight one doubles in his first season with the Fire. In singles, he finished ranked 42nd with a 9-6 record, reaching as high as 15th during the season. He concluded with three ranked wins, the best of which was a 6-0, 6-2 win over #15 Felix Veyhle from #7 Westcliff. In doubles, with Diego Menendez, he turned in a 14-7 record with two ranked wins one of which was a 6-2 victory over the #17 DII doubles team from #12 Embry-Riddle. He was named ITA NAIA Doubles All-American, NAIA Second-Team All-American, and Second-Team All-Sun Conference.
