WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.—Southeastern registered the third hole-in-one in the 11-year history of its women's team during play at the Keiser Kup.
The Fire finished fourth of seven teams in the field finishing 27 shots behind Texas Wesleyan for third. Host Keiser won the event by 11 shots over William Carey.
Maria Stephens finished ninth with a total of 227 (80-74-73) which included an ace on the 107-yard seventh hole on Monday during the second round.
Marlie Smit was tied for tenth with a 54-hole total of 228 (74-76-78).
Madelyn Campbell tied for 13
th with a total of 229, posting rounds of 79, 73, and 77. Campbell led the field in pars with 41.
Alejandra Cuellar was 21
st with a total of 235 (80-79-76) and
Lauren Hosier was 33rd with rounds of 87, 80, and 79.
The team returns to action next week at Breanau.
