LAKELAND, Fla.- Both Southeastern tennis programs head into a week of competition that will see them play host to two different NAIA Top 25 ranked programs including the top team in the NAIA on both the men's and women's side, Keiser University.

The No. 5 ranked Fire men (9-2, 1-0 SUN) will host three matches this week beginning on Tuesday against Hamilton College at 1 p.m. On Friday, the Fire will host No. 15 ranked St. Thomas University at 1 p.m. and will conclude the week against No. 1 ranked Keiser on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Southeastern currently holds three wins over NAIA Top 25 programs including William Carey, William Woods, and Middle Georgia State.

Diego Menendez currently holds a perfect 8-0 record while
Federico Barbon holds an 8-2 record and a six-match win streak. At line one,
Christian Garay has dropped just two matches all season (9-2), both of which came against Division II Embry Riddle and NAIA second-ranked Georgia Gwinnett College. Garay is ranked at No. 6 in the NAIA in singles play by the ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings.

Enrique Martinez and
Guido Luna hold a 6-2 doubles record.

The Continentals hold a current 2-3 overall record and are led by Connor Griff who holds a 14-3 overall record thus far this season.

The No. 15 ranked Bobcats hold a 9-5 record with Raul Martinez-Safont holding a 7-1 overall record at line one.

The top-ranked Seahawks hold a 9-4 record with all of their losses coming against Division I and Division II opponents. At line three singles, Gaston Cantero holds a 12-1 record after dropping his first match of the season to Saint Leo.

On the women's side, the No. 6 ranked Fire hold a 7-4 record with all four losses coming against NAIA Top 5 ranked programs, Division I Stetson University, and Division II Embry Riddle. The Fire will spend the week taking on the No. 11 ranked Bobcats on Friday at 1 p.m. and top-ranked Seahawks on Saturday at 1 p.m.

After dropping her first two matches of the season to Embry Riddle and Stetson,
Martina Picardi has strung together a five-match win streak to move her overall singles record to 5-2 at line one including wins over No. 5 Middle Georgia and No. 4 LSU-Alexandria, both in just two sets. Picardi currently ranks No. 21 in the ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings.

Micah Sypert holds a current 6-3 record, four of which came over top 25 opponents.

Doubles pair
Irene Lopez and
Neleah Neiberline have posted a 5-2 doubles record and currently hold a four-match win streak. The duo has claimed doubles victories over four different top 25 programs including the Fire's only doubles win against No. 4 ranked LSU-Alexandria (6-3).

The Bobcats hold a 13-1 record with their only loss of the season coming against the No. 1 Seahawks by a score of 6-1.

The Seahawks hold a 10-1 record with their lone loss coming against Division II opponent Lynn University 4-3. At line one, Violet Apisah holds a near perfect record of 22-1 and is ranked the top singles player in the NAIA by the ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings.
