Cross Country Prepped for National Championship Race

LAKELAND, Fla.- Southeastern men's cross country will race in the NAIA Cross Country National Championship on Friday in Fort Vancouver, Washington after earning an automatic bid by winning their third conference championship in four years.
 
On the women's side, Grace Feder will also race after qualifying with a sixth-place finish at the SUN Championship.
 
This will be the fourth appearance for John Perez-Dunn at the NAIA National Championship, finishing 82nd with a time of 25:22 last season, 170th in the 2021 season, and 149th in his first appearance on April 9th, 2021. This will be the third team appearance for the Fire after finishing 29th overall last season at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Fla.
 
This will be the first time Feder has raced at the NAIA National Championship. The junior has been the first across the line for the Fire in all five races this season with a season-best time of 19:02 at the NAIA Appalachian Challenge in Knoxville, Tenn.
 
Feder will race at 1:30 p.m. Eastern with the men following at 2:30 p.m.
