Box Score MOBILE, Ala.—The Southeastern University women's soccer team picked up their 14
th win of the season with a 4-1 victory over the University of Mobile Rams.
Anne-Clara Couturier got the scoring started in the 22
nd minute of the first half when she finished a goal off an assist by
Victoria Moran. This marked Couturier's ninth goal of the season and Moran's third assist.
Moments later
Hanna Ryberg tallied her first goal in a Fire uniform when she finished a ball from graduate
Sierra Clayton to put the Fire up 2-0 and this score would remain through halftime.
Goalkeeper
Holly Eddins came up with two saves in the opening half to preserve the Fire lead.
The Rams cut their deficit in half when they snuck one past Eddins with 36:45 to go in the game, but SEU answered back eight minutes later when
Aisha Solorzano found the back of the net for her 13
th goal of the season to restore the two-goal advantage.
Southeastern's defense picked it up to close the game as they didn't allow Mobile to put a shot on goal the remainder of the second half.
SEU wasn't done scoring as
Naira Lopez put the Fire up 4-1 with less than ten minutes to go with her tenth goal of the season.
The Fire (14-1-1) continue their spring schedule next Saturday when they host Middle Georgia State at 3:00 pm.
