LAKELAND, Fla.- In the first match of the postseason, the Southeastern University men's soccer team will play host to SCAD Savannah in the Sun Conference Tournament Quarterfinal this Saturday at 8 p.m. with the Fire coming into the tournament with the No. 4 seed and SCAD with the No. 5 seed.

The Bees of SCAD finished the regular season with an overall record of 4-6-5 and 2-4-2 in TSC. As a team, the Bees have netted 27 goals through 15 games played for an average of 1.8 goals per game. The offense has managed to get off 14.6 shots per match which includes a .489 shot on goal percentage. The Bee's offense has proven solid in multiple areas with three different players being tied for team lead in goals and assists with four a piece. In goal, Connor Friel has recorded 47 saves with 18 goals allowed for a save percentage of .723.

The 9-4-4 (3-3-2 TSC) Fire come into postseason play averaging 2.75 shots per game and 16 shots per game and have managed to put over half of their shots on goal. Senior
Julian Hall leads the Fire offense with 10 goals while
Eduardo Venutolo ranks second in both goals and assists for the Fire with seven goals of his own and four assists which is second to Ben Avir-Espinal who leads the team in assists with five. Reigning National Defensive Player of the Week,
Carlos Curado, has seen time in nine games and registered 34 saves for a save percentage of .694 and two shutouts.

In the last matchup between these two teams on October 16
th, the Fire pulled out a 2-1 victory with Hall's ninth goal of the season and the game winning goal coming from
Samuele Nardini for his second of the season.
