LAKELAND, Fla. — Southeastern Softball was well represented in the Sun Conference postseason awards, highlighted by a sweep of the league's top individual honors and multiple selections across the All-Conference teams. For the second straight year, Southeastern claimed both Player of the Year and Pitcher of the Year, underscoring the program's continued success at the top of the conference.
Outfielder
Raylei McKinney was named Sun Conference Player of the Year while also earning First Team All-Conference recognition for the third consecutive season. McKinney becomes just the fourth player in program history to earn the conference's top offensive honor, continuing a steady run of elite production in the middle of the Fire lineup.
McKinney put together one of the top offensive campaigns in the NAIA, hitting .492 while ranking among the national leaders in slugging percentage, home runs, and total bases. Her ability to produce consistently and deliver in key moments helped drive Southeastern's success throughout the season.
Pitcher
Maria Zelenka repeated as Sun Conference Pitcher of the Year, becoming the first pitcher in program history to earn the award multiple times. Zelenka served as the anchor of the pitching staff, providing stability and control in high-leverage situations.
Zelenka leads the NAIA in ERA while also ranking among the national leaders in WHIP, strikeouts, and wins. Her ability to limit baserunners and command the strike zone made her one of the most effective pitchers in the country and a key factor in Southeastern's success.
Catcher
Nicole Wasserstrom earned First Team All-Conference honors, continuing to provide a steady presence behind the plate for the Fire. Her defensive consistency and experience helped guide one of the top pitching staffs in the NAIA while also contributing timely offense throughout the season.
Outfielder
Ella Brooks secured another First Team All-Conference selection after delivering one of the most dynamic seasons in the conference. Brooks hit .463 and added 42 stolen bases, creating constant pressure on opposing defenses while serving as a catalyst at the top of the lineup.
Pitcher
Edan Playa earned First Team All-Conference honors after another strong season in the circle. Playa posted a 0.74 ERA with 13 wins and multiple complete games, providing a reliable complement to Zelenka and helping solidify Southeastern's status as one of the top pitching staffs in the nation.
Infielder
Erica Ramsey was named to the Second Team All-Conference following a productive season at the plate. Ramsey hit .333 with four home runs and 19 RBI, supplying power and run production in key moments for the Fire lineup.
Infielder
Lauren Sekinger earned Second Team All-Conference honors after serving as one of the most consistent hitters on the roster. Sekinger batted .357 while starting every game, providing stability and production throughout the lineup.
The collection of honors reflects another strong year for Southeastern, which has now produced back-to-back sweeps of the conference's top individual awards while continuing to place multiple athletes across the All-Conference teams. No. 3 Southeastern captured the Sun Conference regular season title, earning the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament, which begins Thursday in Clearwater.
