Biography

SENIOR (2026): The senior centerfielder saved, by far, her best season for her last ride. Finishing the year with a career best .404 batting average, picking up 72 hits, and scoring 61 times. She got on base .485 percent of the time thanks to 26 walks, proceeding to steal 45 bases. In the 9-0 run rule of Abraham, she crushed a grand slam for her only home run of the season. She reaped accolades, three Sun Conference Player of the Week awards, First-Team All-Sun Conference, NAIA Second-Team All-American, and NFCA NAIA Second-Team At-Large All-American. Her onfield prowess was matched in the classroom, as she earned Sun Conference All-Academic, NAIA Daktronic Scholar-Athlete, and CSC Academic All-District.

JUNIOR (2025): Brooks excelled in her second season in Lakeland, starting all 53 games in 2025. Batting .378, thanks to 62 hits and 31 RBIs with 40 runs scored. She slugged .476 with a .425 on base percentage thanks to 28 walks, and two inside the park home runs. Additionally, she swiped 35 bags and dropped 15 sacrifice hits. Her success earned her Second-Team All-Sun Conference, and academically she claimed Sun Conference All-Academic, CSC Academic All-District, and NAIA Daktronic Scholar-Athlete.

SOPHOMORE (2024): The Mars Hill transfer finished her inaugural season with the Fire with a .390 batting average, starting every game. Her average was fueled by 62 hits, seven doubles, and 16 RBIs. Her .449 on base percentage was boosted by 14 walks, once she got on base she was still a threat scoring 40 runs and stealing 36 bases. In the season opener versus #21 Reinhardt she went 3-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored, helping the Fire to a 4-2 victory.  A 7-1 win over New College of Florida was highlighted by 2-for-3, two RBI, one run performance. She was recognized for her play with NFCA NAIA All-Region Second Team, First-Team All-Sun Conference. She was also named CSC Academic All-District for her studies.
