TAMPA, Fla.—Southeastern track and field athletes posted four marks at the USF South Florida Invitational that rank among the top five in the NAIA this season.
James Williamson III ran a 20.81 in the 200 Meters to finish seventh in the loaded field which is the top time in the NAIA this season. He also ran the first leg of the 4x100 Relay team with
Joseph Taylor,
Cameron Alamia, and
Davien Worrels which finished second with a time of 40.18 which is the No. 2 time in the NAIA.
Cameron Guadiano was the winner of the 110 Hurdles in a time of 13.85 ranking second nationally.
Worrels was third in the 400 Meters in a time of 47.19, ranking fourth nationally. Taylor was ninth in the race with an 'A' Standard time of 48.07.
Alamia posted a season-best NAIA 'B' Standard time of 21.35 in the 200 Meters.
Kevin Parker was the standout in the field, finishing seventh in the Pole Vault, clearing 4.71 meters on his first attempt for an NAIA 'B' Standard mark.
On the women's side,
Irmiris Mendez posted a season-best 'A' Standard time of 24.52 in the 200 Meters to finish 18
th and post the 11
th-fastest time nationally.
Oluwafikayomi Lawrence was 18
th in the 400 Meters with the eighth-fastest time in the NAIA at 56.10.
Aoife Mahony hit the 'B' Standard in the 800 Meters with a school-record time of 2:15.74. Chelsee Martino ran a season-best 'B' Standard time of 1:04.48 in the 400 Meter Hurdles.
