Women’s Tennis Wins Third Straight

Box Score MIAMI GARDENS, Fla.—Southeastern bounced back from a tough showing in doubles play to rally for a 4-2 victory at St. Thomas on Saturday to push their record to 11-3 overall.
 
Martina Picardi and Simone Simas were victorious at the top singles flight but losses in the second and third gave the Bobcats a 1-0 lead.
 
Simas was a 6-1, 6-1 winner at Line 3 singles to tie the match but the Bobcats regained the lead with a win in the second flight. Picardi tied the match with a 6-4, 6-3 win at the top singles flight. Ingrid Montserrat was a 6-2, 6-2 winner at Line 5 and Flaminia Guidantoni won 6-4, 6-4 at Line 4 to clinch the match.
 
The Fire will host Coastal Georgia next Friday at 1 p.m.
