Southeastern University women's tennis rolls into the last two games of the regular season after a hard fought 4-2 win over St. Thomas in Miami Gardens. On Friday the Fire host Coastal Georgia and on Saturday #9 SCAD-Savannah.
Boasting an 11-3, 4-1 SUN record, the Fire prepare for what will be a tough conclusion to the regular season, and it starts with Coastal Georgia (3-6, 1-4 SUN). The Fire hold the lead in the all-time matchup 5-1-1, currently running a five game winning streak. Last year, the Fire staved off the Mariners, claiming victory 4-1.
There is one ranked player on each team and the Fire have two flights ranked in doubles. For the Mariners, Ana Gonzalez ranked #49 in the NAIA, and the Fire's line one in singles,
Martina Picardi is ranked 16th.

SCAD Savannah (9-4, 4-1 SUN) comes to visit the day after the Fire host the Mariners. The Bees have posted some impressive results which include wins over #10 LSU-Alexandria and a blanking of #7 St. Thomas. Their four losses consist of top five opponents and an NCAA Division I team. SCAD has won its last two matches and are seeking to extend the streak to three.
The Bees have one doubles team ranked which consists of Priya Sukkahna and Sofia Ragona, they rank 34th. In singles they have players ranked back to back, Francina Puig Llompart lands at 54 and Alessia Piccoliori comes in right behind at 55.
The match against Coastal Georgia kicks off at 1 p.m. on Friday afternoon, and the day following the first serve against SCAD Savannah is at 1 p.m.
