JEFFERSON, Tenn.—Southeastern had four boats compete at the Strike King Bassmaster College Series at Douglas Lake over the weekend and had two place in the top 75 of the tournament.
In a field of 222 boats, the Fire placed all four in the top half of the field.
Brant Langley and
Cody Morgan were the top pair for Southeastern with a two-day weight of 23 pounds, 10 ounces to place 45th. The second day was their best with a five-fish limit weighing 12 pounds.
Connor Koch and Kane Weekley were 62
nd with a 10 fish total of 22 pounds, 13 ounces. During the second day on the lake, Koch and Weekley had a five-fish limit weighing 13 pounds, five ounces.
Finishing 79
th were
Andrew Ready and
Trey Garrett with a two-day total of 21 pounds, 14 ounces.
Colton Boelkes went solo and finished 106
th with a total of 20- pounds, six ounces with his 10-fish limit.
The team will fish in Major League Fishing's College Series on April 26
th at Lake Gunterville in Alabama next.
