LAKELAND, Fla- The Fire are back at it this week with a full slate of contests, with Sun Conference play right in the middle of the action.
VolleyballÂ
9/20 @ Webber International University at 7 P.M.
9/21 vs. Trinity College at 6 P.M.
9/23 vs. St. Thomas University at 2 P.M.
Last week, the Fire volleyball team began conference play in the win column with a win over Coastal Georgia. The volleyball team is currently 8-2, hoping to keep the winning trend going as they play three matches this week, starting in Babson Park where they will take on the Webber International Warriors. The Warriors are sitting at a 6-5 record, coming off of a loss to St. Thomas University. The Fire will end the week at home, hosting Trinity College and St. Thomas University. The Bobcats hold the same record as the Fire, both starting 1-0 in conference play.
Women's Soccer
9/20 vs. St. Thomas University at 7 P.M.
9/23 @ Warner University at 7 P.M.
The Fire women's soccer team, who are coming off a huge 2-0 victory against #5 Keiser University will continue Sun Conference play, seeing two more conference opponents this week. The Fire will start their week at home, hosting St. Thomas University, currently holding a 4-0-1 record. The Fire will then travel to Lake Wales, Fla. where they will take on the Warner Royals, who are looking for their first conference win.
Men's Soccer
9/20 @ St. Thomas University at 7 P.M.
9/23 vs. Warner University at 7 P.M.
The men's soccer team is also looking at a full week of Sun Conference matchups, as they start the week in Miami Gardens, Fla. taking on the #6 ranked St. Thomas University Bobcats. Both the Fire and the Bobcats currently sit at first and second place in the Sun Conference standings. After their trip to Miami Gardens, the Fire will end the week at home hosting the Warner Royals, who currently hold a 2-3-1 record.
Bass Fishing
9/23 - Kentucky Lake, Paris, Tenn.
The Fire will be making their Association of Collegiate Anglers debut, as they travel to Tennessee for the Big Bass Bash. The Fire are coming off of their program debut in Brookeland, Texas, where they placed three boats in the top half of the scoring.
Football
9/23 @ Faulkner University at 2:30 P.M.
Fire Football is coming off of a bye week, after a massive upset on the road of #10 ranked Reinhardt University. The Fire will look to keep the momentum going, as they travel to Alabama to take on Faulkner University. The Eagles have started the season 0-2, one of their losses coming from Reinhardt University.
