Box Score BRUNSWICK, Ga.—Southeastern picked up a 4-1 win over Coastal Georgia to advance to tomorrow's semifinal match against second-seeded Ave Maria at 10 a.m.
The third-seeded Fire earned the doubles point with a 6-0 win at Line 2 by
Martina Picardi and
Simone Simas and a 6-4 win by
Neleah Neiberline and
Irene Lopez at Line 3.
In singles play,
Micah Sypert and
Beatrice Letizia cruised to straight-sets wins at Lines 2 and 3, respectively. Sypert won 6-1, 6-1 and Letizia 6-2, 6-0. The clinching point came from Simas at Line 5 with a 5-2, 6-0 win.
The Fire are now 12-6 on the season and will look to avenge a 4-3 loss from earlier this year at Ave Maria tomorrow.
