Box Score SAVANNAH, Ga.—Southeastern closed the Sun Conference portion of its schedule with a 6-1 win over SCAD Savannah on Saturday.
The Fire are now a program-best 16-3 and finished with a 5-1 conference record.
After winning all three doubles matches, the Fire won five of the six singles matches to pick up the win.
Diego Menendez won the first set of his No. 2 Singles match 6-4 but dropped the second 6-2. He came back to win the tiebreaker set 10-2 for his 13
th win of the year.
Guido Luna picked up his fourth-straight win with a 6-0, 6-1 win at Line 5 to improve to 14-2 on the year.
The Fire will host Eastern Florida State to close out the regular season next Friday when they will honor their seniors.
