Fourth NAIA Top 25 Win Secured for Women's Tennis

Box Score ORLANDO, Fla.- Southeastern women's tennis moved to 6-3 on the season today after completing their third shutout of an NAIA Top 25 ranked team, this time with a 4-0 win over No. 25 Cardinal Stritch University.
 
Micah Sypert and Priscila Baptista secured a doubles win at line two with a 6-2 win while another doubles win by Neleah Neiberline and Irene Lopez by the score of 6-3 at line three secured the doubles point for the Fire.
 
Martina Picardi earned the first singles win at line one by scores of 6-3 and 6-0 to put the Fire ahead 2-0.
 
At line five, Lopez completed her fourth win in less than a week with set scores of 6-4 and 6-2.
 
Sypert completed the Fire's shutout, downing her opponent 6-1 and 6-3 at line two.
 
The No. 6 ranked Fire will next head to Mobile, Ala. for the weekend to take on LSU-Alexandria on Saturday at 4 p.m. and Xavier University on Sunday at 10 a.m.
