Women's Tennis Earns Another NAIA Top 25 Win

Box Score LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga.- The No. 12 ranked Southeastern women's tennis team (5-3) collected their second NAIA Top 25 ranked win of the weekend after defeating No. 23 ranked William Woods by a score of 4-0 to conclude their weekend trip to Lawrenceville, Ga.
 
At line two doubles, Micah Sypert and Priscila Baptista combined for a 6-1 victory while Irene Lopez and Neleah Neiberline secured a 6-1 victory as well at line three doubles, clinching the doubles point for the Fire.
 
Sypert also took a victory at line two singles by two set scores of 6-0 while Lopez earned her second match win of the day at line five with scores of 6-0 and 6-1.
 
The final Fire victory came at line six with Abigail Damon downing her opponent 6-0 and 6-2 to clinch the Fire's 4-0 win.
 
Southeastern will next be in action on Thursday as they take on No. 25 ranked Cardinal Stritch University at 2:30 p.m. at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla.
