LAKELAND, Fla.- After a week off from competition, the Southeastern University volleyball team will open their Sun Conference season with a road contest on Wednesday against Warner University at 7 p.m. and will have their SUN home opener on Saturday against Keiser University at 2 p.m.

Through 11 matches, the Fire have posted a 4-7 overall record behind 11.26 kills per set, 10.64 assists per set, and 17.08 digs per set.
Grace Petty sits as the team leader in kills with 113 while
Ryanne VanWyk leads the Fire in assists with 138.
Holly Kaczmarek is responsible for 172 digs for an average of 5.2 per set while
Chapel Cunningham leads in total blocks with 20.

The Royals have had a slow start to their season, going 1-7 and will be looking to grab some momentum heading into conference play. Averaging 8.12 kills per set, the Royals have totaled 211 kills behind 57 from Gwen Simpson. Defensively, the Royals average 1.73 blocks per set and 16.12 digs per set.

Keiser University comes into the week with an impressive 19-3 overall record as they average nearly 13 kills and 12.3 assists per set. Cassie Cox and Brooklynn Salter have dominated their opponents at the net with Cox collecting 187 total kills, ranking 11
th best in the NAIA, and Slater recording 160. On the other side of the ball, Hannah Lynch has been a part of 62 total blocks, ranking her sixth in the NAIA. The Seahawks also have the NAIA leader in assists in Hannah Heide who has collected 792 assists in her 22 matches, averaging 9.54 per set.
