LAKELAND, Fla.- The Southeastern University women's volleyball team (11-12, 7-5 SUN) will host two contests this week as they prepare for the Sun Conference Tournament beginning the following week. On Wednesday, the Fire will host Webber International for a 7 p.m. contest and will conclude the regular season on Saturday against St. Thomas University at 2 p.m.

A three-game winning streak has secured the number four spot in the Sun Conference with the Fire playing their best volleyball of the season as of late. Through the last three contests, the Fire are hitting .204 as a team with the rise of
Emilia Harding aiding substantially to the Fire's recent success. Harding has posted an impressive .385 hitting percentage with 51 kills over the last three contests for an average of 4.25 kills per set.
Alexandra Postlethwaite has also aided to the recent success as she recorded 83 assists in the last 12 sets for an average of 6.83 assists per set. Defensively, Holly Kazmarek averaged nearly six digs per set.

Throughout the entirety of the season, the Fire average 12.2 kills per set and hold a .180 hitting percentage.
Grace Petty is the Fire's current leader in kills with 211 total and an average of 2.64 kills per set while Harding leads the way in hitting percentage with a .326. Defensively, the Fire average 16.6 digs per set and 1.3 blocks per set. Kaczmarek has been the leading contributor to the defense with 364 digs and 5.3 per set which ranks second in the Sun Conference. At the net,

Chapel Cunningham have combined for 89 total blocks.

The Warriors hold a current record of 13-14 and 3-9 in the SUN and are looking to snap a five-game losing streak. Collectively, the Warriors have posted a hitting percentage of .180 and average 11.1 kills per set. Bailey Sikkema leads the Warriors in kills with 213 Savannah Wilhite leads in hitting percentage with a .313. On the other side, the Warriors average 14.8 digs per set and 1.9 blocks per set with Bailey Berger collecting 329 digs and Teodora Cookey tallying 86 total blocks, ranking her second in the conference.

These two teams met earlier this year with the Fire falling to the Warriors by a score of 3-1.

Currently on a 12-game winning streak, the Bobcats sit at the top of the Sun Conference with an 11-1 SUN record and 16-4 overall record. The Bobcats only conference loss came in a five-set battle against Ave Maria on the road. Defense has been the strong point for the Bobcats as they average 17.1 digs per set and 2.1 blocks per set. Bianca Grassi leads the Sun Conference in digs per set with 5.68 while Sana Dennis has recorded 52 blocks for an average of .79 per set. The offense holds a hitting percentage of .203 and averages 13 kills per set with Amanda Allende leading the way in both kills (229) and kills per set (3.42). Isadora Tavares has tallied 436 assists in 73 sets for an average of nearly six assists per set.
