LAKELAND, Fla. — Southeastern University women's volleyball has officially released the program's schedule for the 2026 season. The upcoming campaign features a demanding non-conference slate against several of the nation's premier programs, followed by a full home-and-home Sun Conference schedule.

SEU returns a highly experienced roster to the court this fall, anchored by key award-winners from the 2025 season. Outside hitter Laura Bonomi returns to lead the Fire attack following her standout campaign where she earned the program's first All-American honor. Also returning is junior setter Haven Speer, a Second-Team All-Sun Conference selection who directed the offense last year with a team-high 572 assists.

"I'm just really excited about this group" said Head Coach Amanda Phelps. "We have a solid core coming back with players who have significant experience. These girls are fun to be around but they're competitive at the same time. I'm excited to get everyone back on campus!"

The Fire open the regular season on Friday, August 14, at the Keiser Tournament in West Palm Beach, Fla., where they face an immediate national test against No. 1-ranked, and reigning NAIA national champion Indiana Wesleyan at 2:30 p.m.

The following week, the team travels to Fort Wayne, Ind. for the Onset Invitational, an event featuring several nationally ranked programs. On Friday, August 21, the Fire will square off against a pair of Top 25 opponents, taking on No. 12 IU Kokomo at 10 a.m. and No. 10 Mount Vernon Nazarene at 2:30 p.m.

The home conference schedule in Lakeland includes match-ups against New College of Florida (Sept. 9), Keiser (Sept. 19), and Webber International (Sept. 23). The Fire will also host Ave Maria for Alumni Day on October 17 and Warner for Senior night on November 4. The regular season will conclude with a clash with the defending Sun Conference champions, No. 14 St. Thomas, in the Furnace.

The postseason begins November 10 with the Sun Conference Tournament. The NAIA National Tournament begins with the Opening Round on November 21.
