LAKELAND, Fla.—The Fire wrestling team picked up its first two dual wins of the season on Saturday, which included a win over a Top 10 team for the first time since January of 2020.

Southeastern racked up 66 team points in 20 matches at the Reinhardt Duals, defeating Truett-McConnell 48-0, then picked up an 18-13 win over No. 6 Reinhardt. Isaac Crowell, Gage Braun, and Jesse Pryor scored two wins each. Braun scored 29 points in his two matches and had a second period technical fall against Truett. Crowell won a 6-5 match against No. 6 Koby Milner of Reinhardt after scoring a tech fall of his own just 58 seconds into the second against TMU.

The Fire will now turn its attention to its first Mid-South dual of the season when it travels to St. Thomas for the first time in program history.

St. Thomas is in its second year competing in wrestling and lost the first meeting against SEU on December 5, 2020 by the count of 51-0. It is the first dual meet of the season for the Bobcats after placing fourth at the Menlo Open and competing in last weekend's Georgia Open.
