On April 12, 2016, Southeastern University opened its expanded Student Activities Center, which includes the arena that hosts Fire wrestling meets. Its versatility is one of its greatest qualities, allowing the facility to also host special events, assemblies, and much more.

Facility Design

Southeastern modeled its wrestling facility after the Friedman Wrestling Center on the campus of Cornell University.

“We asked all of our wrestling head coaching candidates what they thought the top college wrestling facility was and it was Cornell,” said Director of Athletics Drew Watson . “You'd have a hard time telling the difference between theirs and ours.”

“Southeastern's administration continues to set the bar high and this facility is an example of that,” said Watson.
