LAKELAND, Fla. - Coming off a sixth-place finish at the NAIA National Championships, head coach
Travis Patrick and the Southeastern University wrestling program have officially announced a powerhouse 2026-27 recruiting class.
Featuring a balanced mix of decorated high school signees and collegiate transfers, the incoming group brings a deep resume of state championships, national podium finishes, and high-level prep honors to the Fire wrestling room.
"The mix of talented young guys and proven transfers in this class has me really excited for the future of the Fire Wrestling program," said head coach
Travis Patrick. "This class is loaded with talent and a number of guys that I believe will make an immediate impact on the intensity of our room and the culture of our program. Each of these young men has shown their desire to achieve at a high level in the classroom and on the mat and I look forward to seeing them continue to develop here at SEU."

The Fire added immediate national firepower through the transfer portal, securing multiple national placers and multi-time state champions:
- Jesse Lewis (Iowa) – 2026 NAIA All-American (5th Place), Iowa State Champion
- Richie Clementi (La.) – 4x Louisiana State Champion, Fargo All-American
- Zachary Covolo (Wy.) – NJCAA All-American (3rd Place), Wyoming State Champion
- Elijah Lowe (Fla.) – Florida State Champion, Preseason Nationals All-American
