Southeastern University men's golf stands at 20th after one day at the Dalton Golf and Country Club playing for the NAIA National Championship.
The Fire are +25 as a team after shooting 313 in the first run of the course.
Matthew Soucinek leads the way for the Fire shooting a one-over 73, three strokes off of first place and placing 14th alongside other golfers.
Tied for 83rd is
Zachary Shaw who is running with a score of 79 after the first 18 holes. Tied for 96th is Nicholas Faraone who shot 80.

Marley Read and
Nick Zarillo are tied for 112th after finishing the first 18 holes nine strokes over par.
First place currently is Keiser University, shooting three strokes over par.
The Fire tee off tomorrow at 2:10 p.m. for the second round, needing to be in the top 15 to advance to the third and fourth rounds.
