SILVIS, Ill.—Southeastern placed eighth at the 2024 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship after posting a team score of 314 in Friday's final round.
The Fire finished with a 72-hole team score of 1260. Keiser won the event with a total of 1194.
Individually,
Marlie Smit was 25
th with a total of 310, closing with her best 18-hole score of the week on Friday with a three-over 75. Sophomore
Alejandra Cuellar was 30
th after a 77 in the final round and finished the week with a total of 313.
Sophomore
Madelyn Campbell closed the week with a 79 to finish with a total of 318 for 44
th place. She birdied back-to-back holes on the Back 9 and played the back at one-under for the day.
Freshman
Lauren Hosier placed 63
rd at 326 with an 86 in the final round and
Maria Stephens was 64
th at 328 after an 83 on Friday.
