GULF SHORES, Ala.—Southeastern dropped the last match of a three-game trip to Gulf Shores on Saturday, falling 4-1 to Loyola University of New Orleans.
Emilia Harding and
Olivia Williams in the second flight scored the lone point with a 21-11, 21-15 win to move to 2-1 on the trip.
Kennedy Jones and
Alexandra Postlethwaite in Flight 3 went to a third set after battling back to win the second 21-19 and came up just short in the tiebreaker, 15-13.
Abigail Robinson and
Cambry Pope also dropped a 15-14 third set in the fourth flight.
The team will round out the regular season Thursday in St. Petersburg against Ave Maria, which clinched The Sun Conference regular season title today, and Eckerd.
