GAINESVILLE, Fla.--The Fire had four relay teams place in the top four at the Florida Collegiate Invitational and had a major performance in the 60 Meter Hurdles.
Cameron Guadiano,
Cameron Alamia,
Joseph Taylor,
Davien Worrels took first in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:16.35 for an NAIA 'A' Standard time. Guadiano won the 60 meter dash in 7.97 which is the fourth-fastest time in the NAIA this season and the fastest by a freshman in program history.
Alamia won the 200 meter dash with a time of 21.58 for an 'A' Standard time.
In the distance medley relay,
Jonathan Fitzgerald,
Davien Worrels,
Andrew Carrera,
John Perez-Dunn won the event with a time of 10:31.97.
Senior
Joseph Taylor won the 400 meter dash in 47.88 and took second place in the 200 meter dash with a time of 21.71. Taylor posted an 'A' Standard in the 400 and a 'B' Standard in the 200.
In field events, Senior
Kyle Manuel took first in shot put with an 'A' Standard mark of 16.37 meters.
On the women's side,
Ar'Briel Scott,
Irmiris Mendez, Chelsee Martino, Oluwafikayom Lawrence took third in the 4x400 meter relay with a 'B' Standard time of 3:58.77.
In the distance medley relay,

Jillian Blaser,
Sarah Foreman placed fourth with a program-best 'A' Standard time of 12:20.83 which ranks eighth nationally.
Mendez placed second in the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.02, just off her season best, along with a fifth place time of 7.72 in the 60 meter dash.
The Fire will return to Gainesville next Friday to compete at the Celebration Pointe Indoor Classic.
