LAKELAND, Fla.- Southeastern men's soccer will be in action twice this week highlighted by another NAIA Top 25 matchup.

The 3-0-1 Fire will travel to Miami Gardens, Fla. on Wednesday to take on the No. 6 ranked Bobcats of St. Thomas for a 7 p.m. contest.

On Saturday, the Fire will host Warner University for another Sun Conference match at 7 p.m.

Southeastern is coming off a 3-0 win over Ave Maria University in their SUN opener behind a dominating defensive effort that allowed just four shots from the Gyrenes. Collectively, the Fire have outscored their opponents 10-3 and have held competitors to just six shots per game while getting off 16 per game.

Roque Viegas Jr. has led the offense thus far with two goals and two assists while
Gianluca Contegno and
Edoardo Venutolo each have tallied two goals and an assist.

In goal,
Henrique Cavalini has posted a 3-0-1 record with six saves on nine shots faced.

The Bobcats (4-0-1) have outscored their opponents 15-5 with an average of three goals and 16.6 shots per game. Defensively, opponents manage just six shots and one goal per contest against the nationally ranked program.

Osaghae Oghogho leads the conference with five goals while Guido Cacciabue has recorded three goals and an assist. Keeper Franco Acerbi has recorded eight saves on 13 shots faced.

Last season, the Bobcats and the Fire proved to be evenly matched with both contests ending in draws after regulation. The Bobcats would claim the victory in the SUN Tournament semifinal after penalty kicks. The Fire have not defeated the Bobcats since the 2019 season when they took a 2-0 win at home.

The Royals of Warner come into the week with a 2-3-1 record and are coming off a 5-0 loss to the Bobcats. The Royals have been outscored 12-6 with an average of one goal and 10.2 shots per game.

Bryce Himes and Joseph Street each have two goals to their credit while Gustavo Infante has accumulated 29 saves and a .763 save percentage.

Last season, the two teams met just one time with the Fire taking the 2-0 win at home.
