With the result, the Fire move to an 8-1-2 overall record and a 2-0-1 conference mark, while the Warriors sit at 2-8-2 overall and 0-3-1 in conference play.
The Fire applied heavy pressure from the opening whistle, outshooting the Warriors 28 to 4 overall and 11 to 2 in shots on goal. Southeastern broke through in the 16th minute when forward Thomas Hardouin netted his fifth goal of the season off assists from Adam Cooil and Filipe Santana. Webber International responded by capitalizing on an opportunity in the 26th minute, as Dylan Salomon converted a penalty kick to level the score at 1-1.
