MIAMI GARDENS, Fla.- Southeastern beach volleyball added two wins today after downing Florida Memorial by a score of 4-1 and St. Thomas University by a score of 5-0 to move to 5-4 on the season.

Against the Lions, the Fire dropped a three-set match (13-21, 21-14, 8-15) at line one but
Sylvia Liszewski and
Katie Chillura combined for a win at line two with dominating 21-6 and 21-8 scores to tie the match.

Kennedy Jones and Ryanne Vanwyk then earned a win at line three by scores of 21-15 and 21-12.

At line four,
Emily Eurice and
Chloe Rhodes took 21-9 and 21-12 set wins while a Lions' forfeit at line five secured a 4-1 match victory for the Fire.

Southeastern then went on to sweep the Bobcats with
Grace Petty and
Alexandra Postlethwaite taking a line one win by scores of 21-11 and 21-10 to open the match.

Chillura and Liszewski earned another line two win by two set scores of 21-15 while Jones and Vanwyk won their match 23-21 and 21-17.

Eurice and Rhodes then came out on top of a three-set battle, taking the first set 21-17, dropping the second by the same score and taking the tiebreaker set 15-13.

Emilia Harding and
Holly Kaczmarek completed the Fire shutout with a 21-11 and 21-5 victory at line five.

Southeastern will next head to Babson Park next Friday to take on William Carey at 8:30 a.m. and Loyola University at 2:30 p.m.
