ADAIRSVILLE, Ga.—Southeastern closed the fall portion of the 2023-24 men's golf season with a fourth-place finish at the Eagles Fall Invitational at Barnsely Gardens Resort.
Point University won the event by 11 shots over Webber International. The Fire posted a 54-hole team score of 935, two shots out of third and 13 out of second.
Individually,
Matthew Soucinek tied for second, five shots back with a total of 224. The grad student opened and closed with three-over rounds of 75 with a 74 in between. Soucinek led the field in pars with 35, and was second in Par 4 scoring at 4.1.
Marley Read was tied for sixth with a total of 229 (75-79-75) and
Zachary Shaw was 28
th with a total of 239 (78-79-82).
Chris Greenberry was 34
th at 243 (84-78-81) and
Nick Zarillo was 44
th at 255 (85-79-91).
Cody Williams placed 41
st playing as an individual with an 85 in the first round and a pair of 83s in the second and third rounds.
