Box Score BABSON PARK, Fla.- In the resumed season finale from April 2
nd that was postponed due to weather, the Fire completed a late-game comeback to defeat Webber International by a commanding 20-10 score.

After beginning the contest with a 2-2 score in the bottom of the second, the Warriors grabbed two early insurance runs off of a two-run home run given up by DJ Roberts.

In the third, the Warriors added two more after a walk and error would come around to score thanks to a two-run single, lending the Warriors a 6-2 lead.

The Fire grabbed their first run of the night in the fourth when
Brian Fuentes drew a bases loaded walk, advanced into scoring position on a wild pitch, and would score off of a
Stephen Cullen single into center field.
Evan Hiatt would come on to replace Roberts in the bottom half of the frame as the Warriors responded with a leadoff home run to take the 7-3 advantage.

Thomas Broyles would then lead off the fifth with a single, eventually coming around to score on a passed ball as
Isaac Nunez collected his first of six RBI's on the night off of a groundout, closing the gap to 7-5. The Warriors again matched the Fire's scoring in the bottom of the frame after a leadoff double, RBI groundout, and one-run single to push the score to 9-5.

Southeastern loaded the bases in the sixth for Guadalupe who drew a bases loaded walk and was followed by another Nunez RBI and a Warrior error that brought the Fire within one. A sacrifice fly by the home team scored their final run of the night as the Fire would go to begin their comeback.

The top long ball hitting team in the nation hit back-to-back jacks to lead off the seventh as
Gary Lora and
Jose Marcano tied the game at 10. With bases loaded and two outs, Nunez sent a double to the left center field wall to clear the bases and give the Fire their first lead of the night.

A seven run ninth inning would secure the 20-10 come-from-behind victory as the No. 1 ranked Fire moved to 44-3 and 19-2 in Sun Conference play.

The Fire will next compete in their last regular season matchup this weekend as they take on Ave Maria University in three-game series beginning with a single game on Friday and concluding with a doubleheader on Saturday.
