BABSON PARK, Fla.—Southeastern went 1-1 during play on the beach volleyball courts at Webber International.
The Fire lost to the third-ranked hosts by the score of 4-1 then came away with a 4-1 win over Warner.
Against Webber, SEU's point came from the No. 3 pair of
Brooke Henry and
Grace Petty which won 21-12, 21-12.
Three of the five matches against Warner went to a third set with the Fire winning two of them. At Line 4,
Kennedy Jones and
Emily Eurice won the first set 21-15 then lost the second by the same total before taking the match 15-11 in the third.
Alexandra Postlethwaite and
Baylee Warneke improved to 5-1 on the year with a 21-13, 21-23, 16-14 win at No. 2.
Southeastern will be back in action on March 17
th against Ave Maria.
