LAKELAND, Fla.—Third-ranked Southeastern scored bonus points in all 10 matches to score a 56-0 win over St. Andrews to start the season.
The Fire picked up three pins in the first three matches with two occurring in the first period with
Isaac Crowell winning by fall in 92 seconds at 125 and
Parker Dobrocky winning by fall in 100 seconds.
Andreus Bond scored a first period technical fall at 149 and
Trace Braun scored a first period technical fall, nearly turning into a pin at the buzzer.
Izac Martinez battled through a 12-3 major decision at 165 and
Stephen Kelle finished his match in less than a minute with a first period fall.
Tristan Middlebrook and
Gage Braun won their matches at 197 and 285, respectively by second period fall.
The Fire will return to action next Saturday at the Patriot Open in Kentucky.
