Box Score LAKELAND, Fla.—Southeastern won its second consecutive Sun Conference match with a 5-2 win over Ave Maria Monday afternoon to move to 4-5 on the year.
The Fire won the doubles point with a 6-0 win by
Enrique Martinez and
Theodor Preiswerk at No. 2 and a 6-2 win by
Santiago Haas and
Felipe Barbosa at No. 3.
In singles play,
Tyler Glowaki picked up a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 6 Singles to push the lead to 2-0 and was followed by a 6-0, 6-3 win by
Alexandre D'aboville at No. 4.
Felipe Barbosa clinched it for SEU with a 7-5, 6-4 win at No. 5. Preiswerk was also a straight-sets winner at No. 3.
Southeastern returns to action on Friday at 1 p.m. against Coastal Georgia.
