BABSON PARK, Fla.—Southeastern went 1-1 during play at Webber International on Saturday, dropping a 3-2 Sun Conference match to the host Warriors, and coming away with a 4-1 win over St. Andrews.
Courtney Krause and
Katie Chillura remained unbeaten on the year, bouncing back from a first set loss to Emily Bowen and Montana-Rae Pelak 21-11 by winning 21-13 and 16-14 in the next two. The pair came away with a 21-2, 21-13 win at Line 1 against St. Andrews as well.
Brooke Henry and
Jordyn Stiger went 2-0 on the day as well, winning at Line 2 in both matches, beating Ferraro and Lee of Webber 21-18, 20-22, 15-10 then took down Gordon and Lozano 21-9, 21-19.
Against St. Andrews, the Fire also got points from
Keniah Rivera Santiago and
Jessica Hidden at No. 3 and
Emily Eurice and
Brilynn Hallman at No. 4.
The Fire are back in action again on March 13 with matches at Warner and with Ave Maria.
