Lakeland, Fla.- The 20-2 Southeastern University women's basketball team will look to add two more in the win column this week and add to their 18-0 conference record as they travel to two Sun Conference opponents in Ave Maria University on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. and Thomas University on Saturday at 2 p.m.

The Fire have been nearly untouchable this season with their only two losses coming against Asbury College by a score of 78-63 and an 85-47 loss to number 14 ranked Thomas More University back in November. The team is coming off of yet another conference win after taking down the Webber International Warriors by a score of 82-43 on Thursday.

The matchup between the Fire and the 7-16 Gyrenes on Thursday will be the team's second meeting of the season with the last matchup coming on January 26
th where the Fire defeated the Gyrenes by a score of 106-38, their largest margin of victory this season. The Fire had three different players with 15 points or more in the matchup and shot 58.8% from the field and 55.6% from the three point arc collectively.

The Fire also broke 100 points in their last meeting against the Night Hawks on January 19
th when they took down the Night Hawks 105-42 after
Haley Howarth dropped a season high 32 points due to an 8-16 effort from the three point arc. The Night Hawks are currently 2-14 on the season with their only two wins coming against the College of Coastal Georgia and Warner University.

Howarth has been the offensive spark plug for the Fire and has recorded a team high 317 points throughout the 22 games played with an impressive 68 three pointers which ranks her number five nationally in three pointers made. Defensively,
Gabrielle Ozoude leads the Fire with 168 total rebounds while also contributing 14.4 points per game. The three time Sun Conference Player of the Week currently ranks number one in the conference in field goal percentage with a percentage of 50.8. Junior point guard
Bekki Kalaydjiev currently ranks number two in the conference in assists per game with 3.96.
