LAKELAND, Fla. — Southeastern women's basketball standout
Grace Field has been named an NAIA Third Team All-American, adding another milestone to a historic 2025–26 season for the graduate forward from Albany, N.Y.
Field becomes the 10th player in Southeastern program history to earn All-America honors, with those 10 individuals combining for 12 total selections. She is also just the third player in program history to be named to the NAIA Third Team.
A consistent force on both ends of the floor, Field served as a centerpiece for the Fire throughout the season. She totaled 492 points, 302 rebounds, 163 steals, 117 assists, and 24 blocks, showcasing one of the most complete statistical seasons in recent program history. She shot an efficient 58.6 percent from the field (195-of-333) and 74.6 percent from the free throw line (100-of-134).
Field's impact was felt nightly. She recorded 15 double-doubles and earned Sun Conference Player of the Week honors seven times, including sweeping the weekly awards on two occasions. Her standout performances included a season-high 32 points in a 107–81 win over the College of Coastal Georgia and a dominant 19-point, 17-rebound effort in a 63–59 victory over St. Thomas University (Florida). She also demonstrated her all-around ability with an eight-assist performance in a win over Ave Maria University.
Her postseason performance further cemented her legacy. Field posted back-to-back double-doubles during Southeastern's run to the Sun Conference Tournament Championship, earning Tournament MVP honors. She was also recognized as the Sun Conference Player of the Year and a First-Team All-Sun Conference selection.
In addition to her on-court success, Field excelled academically, earning recognition as an NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athlete and a member of the Sun Conference All-Academic Team.
Field's All-America selection caps a season defined by consistency, efficiency, and all-around excellence, further strengthening Southeastern's presence on the national stage.
