DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.- The Southeastern University men's track and field team had another solid showing in the indoor portion of their season. The Fire had six top-three finishers at the Embry-Riddle Indoor/Outdoor Challenge on Saturday, as well as two athletes hit NAIA National Standards. All times listed besides those from the 60 meters and 60 meter hurdles will be converted to meet indoor protocol.
Freshman thrower
Kyle Manuel led the way for Southeastern, tossing a 16.72 m in the shot put, an SEU program record, sufficient for the NAIA "A" standard, and the third-best distance in the NAIA thus far in 2020.
Freshman hurdler
Glenn Rodgers hit the "B" mark in the 60 meter hurdles at 8.24, placing him 3
rd out of 22 competitors.
Jonathan Moulton placed 2
nd out of 38 runners in the 400 meters at 49.83.
The Southeastern 4x800 relay team took first place in the event.

The Fire are back in action next Saturday in the University of South Alabama Invitational at the Crossplex in Birmingham, Alabama.
