LAKELAND, Fla.- After a 3-0 sweep last week of Aquinas, Missouri Baptist, and receiving votes Southwestern on both the men's and women's sides of play, the Southeastern men's and RV women's tennis teams are set to conclude the non-conference portion of the regular season with a road trip to The Volunteer State. Both teams head to Tennessee for a three-match set that begins Thursday and concludes on Saturday morning.

FIRE FOCUS:
- Both the men's and women's teams are currently on four-match win streaks.
- On the men's side, the Fire have dropped just one individual match during that win streak.
- For the men, senior Hugo Pires is coming off being named The Sun Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week.
- Pires was 3-0 in singles/doubles action last week. Pires only dropped one set in singles' play and won a super-tiebreaker to clinch the win at No. 6 singles versus Southwestern. The Rio de Janiero, Brazil native is now an impressive 12-3 in doubles' play and a perfect 5-0 since moving into the singles rotation.
- On the women's side, junior Sharienne Ricardo notched the TSC weekly honors sweep for Southeastern, after earning distinction as The Sun Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week.
- Ricardo was a perfect 6-0 record in matches last week, a trio of 8-3 victories at the top spot in doubles play while never dropping a set in singles' action.
- This marks the first time in two seasons that either program has left The Sunshine State for non-conference play.
- SEU will cover a total of 2,110 miles round trip throughout their travels to compete this week.
