Fire to Face Familiar Foe in Sun Conference Final

Southeastern and Keiser Square Off in Sun Conference Final for Fourth-Straight Season

LAKELAND, Fla.- For the fourth consecutive season, the No. 4 Southeastern University women's soccer team is heading to The Sun Conference Tournament Final. SEU advanced to the championship game after defeating Johnson & Wales 8-2 in a semifinal match. For the fourth-straight season, the second-seeded Fire take on top-seeded Keiser in the championship match.

FIRE FOCUS:
  • The Fire are averaging 5.4 goals scored per contest over their last five outings.

  • First Team All-TSC Defender and Newcomer of the Year Maja Henriksson has recorded nine assists over her last seven contests. Henriksson ranks third in the NAIA with 18 helpers.
  • Sophomore Kyoka Koshijma saw a seven-match point streak snapped against the Bobcats. Koshijma had recorded six goals and four assists coming off the bench for Keiser during that stretch.
