Fire Host Warriors in Midweek Sun Conference Showdown

No. 4 Southeastern Faces Webber International on Home Pitch

LAKELAND, Fla. – The No. 4 Southeastern University women's soccer team made a powerful statement in its first Sun Conference match of the season, defeating the Johnson & Wales University Wildcats 8-1 on the road. The Fire have now won three straight TSC Openers. SEU treks on in conference play this week with a home match against cross-county rival Webber International.

FIRE FOCUS:
  • Junior forward Uchenna Kanu is coming off a 13-point week, including a 10-point performance in The Sun Conference opener at Johnson & Wales (4 G, 2A). She earned her fourth Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week award this season.
