Box Score 2 MOBILE, Ala.—The Fire women's tennis team picked up a win and a loss during play in Alabama, kicking off a three-match weekend with an 8-1 win over Spring Hill College before a 5-0 loss to Mobile
Against Spring Hill, the Fire swept doubles play with relative ease, winning 8-0, 8-1, and 8-1. In singles play, the Fire won the top five matches.
Michelle Doan picked up her first win with the Fire, knocking off Brenda Carrada 7-5, 6-2 at #5.
The Fire fell behind No. 16 Mobile 3-0 after doubles play. The match was decided after wins by the Rams at #1 and #3 singles.
Southeastern concludes the trip with a match on Saturday against Loyola (La.).
