Box Score LAKELAND, Fla.—The Southeastern women's tennis team earned its first Sun Conference win of the year, knocking off Ave Maria 7-0.
Southeastern won two doubles matches by the count of 8-3 at #1 (
Kelsi Black &
Sharienne Ricardo) and 8-0 at #2 (
Emily Acierno &
Madeline Wills). The Fire picked up forfeit wins at #3 doubles and #6 singles.
Ricardo, Wills, and
Melanie Dodd all picked up straight sets wins in singles play, giving up just one game between the three of them.
The Fire return to action on Wednesday against Webber International.
