Box Score LAKELAND, Fla.—Facing a stacked lineup, the Fire women's tennis team dropped its third match of the season.
SCAD-Savannah, ranked third in the NAIA Coaches' Poll scored a 9-0 victory over Southeastern at the Beerman Family Tennis Center.
In doubles play, the Fire lost 8-2 at #1 Doubles, and 8-2 at #2 Doubles. In the six singles matches, the Fire won 11 games.
Emily Acierno took 46
th ranked Paige Murdock to 10 games in the first set before a 6-0 loss in the second.
The Fire return to conference action next Saturday at home against Ave Maria at 11 a.m.
